Choose from six unique Full-day Guided Hikes on various trails in Banff and Yoho National Parks! They include experienced certified guide, transportation from and to Lake Louise (Ski Resort and local hotels) and a snack. Custom departure times are available upon request.

- Price is the same for all full-day hikes and includes experienced certified guide, transportation from and to Lake Louise (Ski Resort and local hotels) and snack.
- Departing daily at 9:00am (custom departure times may be available upon request).
- Meet with your guide at the Guides Cabin (located between the Lodge of Ten Peaks and Whiskey Jack Lodge) 30 minutes before start of the tour.
- Hike with your interpretive guide on trail chosen to fit your expectations.

Taylor Lake - Banff
The Taylor Lake trail offers a variety of terrain and landscapes for your enjoyment. Experience the deep forest which is home to many local animals as the trail follows a babbling creek towards the Lake. As you approach the apex of the hike, the trail opens to reveal a beautiful Larch forest and stunning views of Taylor Lake.

Sentinel Pass & Moraine Lake - Banff
Beginning at the magnificent Moraine Lake, the trail climbs up to the beautiful Larch Valley. From here you will enjoy the stunning views of the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Continuing along, the trail ascends to Sentinel Pass, where you'll see the towering spires that lend the trail its name. The return trip is along the same trail.

Plain of 6 Glaciers & Lake Louise - Banff
This trail begins at the famous emerald colored Lake Louise, and climbs gradually from the back of the lake. It is a classic hike in the Rockies, and the trail will be shared with hikers, and horses alike. Once above the tree line you will be rewarded with an impressive view of Lake Louise. The historic Plain of Six Glaciers Teahouse will offer a delicious surprise for the turnaround of the hike. Return journey is mostly downhill, with beautiful views above the tree line.

Emerald Basin & Emerald Lake - Yoho
This trail starts along the shoreline of Emerald Lake. You will pass by a view of the famous Mt Burgess then travel through ancient stands of hemlock and cedar. The rocky trail ascends up the side of a canyon arriving at Emerald Basin, a beautiful natural amphitheatre.

Twin Falls & Takakkaw Falls - Yoho
This trail is mainly forested and passes by several waterfalls, including Angel's Staircase Falls, Point Lace Falls, and Laughing Falls. You will follow along the Yoho River and arrive at a spectacular view of the incredible dual cascades of Twin Falls. Here you can also enjoy the rustic architecture a national historic site; The Twin Falls Tea House.

Iceline Trail & Takakkaw Falls - Yoho
A signature circuit climbing to a high bench with spectacular glacier views, descending to meadows in the Little Yoho Valley and returning past Laughing Falls in the Yoho Valley.

Booking Details
Reservations are required up to 10 minutes in advance for Gondola Top hikes and at least 24 hours before Banff & Yoho National Park Tours. To make a reservation you can either book online, email us at guides@skilouise.com, or call 1-403-522-1385.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. Changes to reservations can be made based on availability. Within 24 hours of the hiking time, refunds will not be issued. There will be no refunds for extreme weather conditions or wildlife activity cancellation.
Note: Rates shown above do not include tax (5%GST). Pricing subject to change without notice. Dates/times are subject to change as the conditions of hiking trails are weather dependant. For the Trail of the Great Bear, there are no minimums. For all other guided walks a minimum of 2 people are required per walk, up to a maximum of 12. Due to the natural grade of the mountain trails, all participants of guided walks should be of moderate fitness ability. Please wear proper footwear and dress for all weather conditions. We recommend bringing sunglasses, water, snacks, jacket and a camera.
