Half-Day Guided Hikes
Choose from four unique Half-day Guided Hikes on various trails in Banff and Yoho National Parks! They include experienced certified guide, transportation from and to Lake Louise (Ski Resort and local hotels) and a snack. Custom departure times are available upon request.
The following applies to all Half-Day Hikes:
- Price is the same for all half-day hikes and includes experienced certified guide, transportation from and to Lake Louise (Ski Resort and local hotels) and snack.
- Departing daily at 9:00am (custom departure times may be available upon request).
- Meet with your guide at the Guides Cabin (located between the Lodge of Ten Peaks and Whiskey Jack Lodge) 30 minutes before start of the tour.
- Hike with your interpretive guide on trail chosen to fit your expectations.

Bow Glacier Trail & Bow Lake - Banff
At the base of Bow Glacier Falls, amid the spray and roar, you can witness the birth of a river. The Bow River, part of western Canada's largest watershed, begins as meltwater tumbling down from the Wapta Icefield.

Lake Louise & Lake Agnes - Banff
This trail begins at Lake Louise. A beautiful sight to begin the hike that gradually is shaded by the trees, as you begin up the Agnes Trail. This trail is gradually increasing in elevation, but comfortably through a series of switchbacks. Views of the lake are visible through breaks in the trees as you climb. This trail is shared with hikers and horses up until just before the Historic Lake Agnes Teahouse. Once at the teahouse, beverages and food are available to have while viewing the beautiful hidden lake. Return journey is mostly downhill, with lots of shade from our evergreen forests.

Emerald Lake Loop - Yoho
The trail circles Emerald Lake and offers excellent views for much of the way. Along the way you can notice the different between the sunnier, dry west side and shady east side of the lake.

Sherbrooke Lake - Yoho
The trail head for Sherbrooke Lake in Yoho National Park begins just west of the Great Divide Lodge along the TransCanada Highway. You will travel through an old growth forest and part of an important wildlife corridor. This path has a consistent gentle ascent and crosses over the occasional plank bridge, eventually arriving at the very picturesque Sherbrooke Lake.

Booking Details
Reservations are required up to 10 minutes in advance for Gondola Top hikes and at least 24 hours before Banff & Yoho National Park Tours. To make a reservation you can either book online, email us at guides@skilouise.com, or call 1-403-522-1385.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. Changes to reservations can be made based on availability. Within 24 hours of the hiking time, refunds will not be issued. There will be no refunds for extreme weather conditions or wildlife activity cancellation.
Note: Rates shown above do not include tax (5%GST). Pricing subject to change without notice. Dates/times are subject to change as the conditions of hiking trails are weather dependant. For the Trail of the Great Bear, there are no minimums. For all other guided walks a minimum of 2 people are required per walk, up to a maximum of 12. Due to the natural grade of the mountain trails, all participants of guided walks should be of moderate fitness ability. Please wear proper footwear and dress for all weather conditions. We recommend bringing sunglasses, water, snacks, jacket and a camera.
